• Testing blues...

  • Did you recompile your classes?
  • Did you re-INSTALL your classes?
  • Did you STOP/START JAVA?
  • Or, more likely, did you stop/start the SERVER?

• Use -c 16M

• Stick to JDK version 1.1.6

• Use CAST

The documentation suggests an 8M cache but 16M works better for development. The JDK 1.1.6 comes with ASA 6 and attempts to use 1.1.7 or later can cause serious problems. The Watcom SQL CAST() function can be a great help in converting datatypes when referring to Java methods and fields. All necessary Java documentation can be found on the web.
